Binding energy of 22C

چکیده
The sensitivity of the calculated matter radius to the binding energy is exploited to estimate the 2n binding energy of 22C, using a recent experimental value of Rm=5.4(9) fm. The result is B2n < 220 keV, significantly smaller than another recent estimate. Disciplines Physical Sciences and Mathematics | Physics Comments Fortune, H. T. and Sherr, R. (2012). The Binding Energy of Diquark-Antidiquark System in Nanometer and Subnanometer Scales
In this paper, using Monte Carlo Fortran code, we have obtained the binding energies for three different systems of diquark–antidiquark in distances from 0.01 to 15 nm. In [0.1 - 15] nm interval, we made use of Coulomb potential because in this interval, strong interaction is negligible. We have compared the binding energies of the systems with one another. The results of these comparisons...
متن کاملIdentification of RNA-binding sites in artemin based on docking energy landscapes and molecular dynamics simulation
There are questions concerning the functions of artemin, an abundant stress protein found in Artemiaduring embryo development. It has been reported that artemin binds RNA at high temperatures in vitro, suggesting an RNA protective role. In this study, we investigated the possibility of the presence of RNA-bindingsites and their structural properties in artemin, using docking energy ...
متن کاملCalculation for Energy of (111) Surfaces of Palladium in Tight Binding Model
In this work calculation of energetics of transition metal surfaces is presented. The tight-binding model is employed in order to calculate the energetics. The tight-binding basis set is limited to d orbitals which are valid for elements at the end of transition metals series. In our analysis we concentrated on electronic effects at temperature T=0 K, this means that no entropic term will be pr...
متن کاملMolecular Dynamics Simulation and Free Energy Studies on the Interaction of Salicylic Acid with Human Serum Albumin (HSA)
Human serum albumin (HSA) is the most abundant protein in the blood plasma. Molecular dynamics simulations of subdomain IIA of HSA and its complex with salicylic acid (SAL) were performed to investigate structural changes induced by the ligand binding. To estimate the binding affinity of SAL molecule to subdomains IB and IIA in HSA protein, binding free energies were calculated using the Molecu...
متن کاملObservation of a large reaction cross section in the drip-line nucleus 22C.
Reaction cross sections (sigma(R)) for 19C, 20C and the drip-line nucleus 22C on a liquid hydrogen target have been measured at around 40A MeV by a transmission method. A large enhancement of sigma(R) for 22C compared to those for neighboring C isotopes was observed. Using a finite-range Glauber calculation under an optical-limit approximation the rms matter radius of 22C was deduced to be 5.4+...
